Project context

Since 2019, the Grand Annecy conurbation and the City of Annecy have been pursuing an ambitious drive to modernise their relationship with residents through the AGATE mobile app. Originally built on the « Ma Ville Dans Ma Poche » solution, it centralises local information, simplifies access to public services and strengthens interaction between citizens and their community.

AGATE now brings together the practical information of the Grand Annecy, the City of Annecy and the towns of Argonay, Chavanod, Épagny Metz-Tessy and Fillière: news, events, weather, air quality, incident reporting, waste collection, bus and train times, parking availability, traffic info… more than 15 services in a single app.

Controlled, secure reversibility

Driven by sovereignty, the Grand Annecy bought back the code usage rights to take over the technical steering of the solution. Steamulo ensured a controlled handover.

  • Takeover of the existing code

  • Technical audit

  • Understanding of dependencies and data flows

  • Set-up of a controlled environment

An application base taken over and made sustainable

Steamulo deployed a complete setup combining technical expertise, project governance and a usage-driven approach: fast, secure takeover of the application base, stabilisation of critical services from the earliest phases, and an evolutive framework.

This project fully illustrates Steamulo's ability to step in on critical-asset takeover contexts, with strong stakes around service continuity, technological sovereignty and the digital transformation of public services.
