The Economic Interest Grouping (GIE) was founded in December 2016 by the joint funders of continuing vocational training, to meet the quality requirements set out in article L. 6316-1 of the French Labour Code.
The 2018 « freedom to choose one's professional future » law created 11 OPCOs, tightening the GIE's governance. The GIE took over the existing « e-certif » platform on 1 July 2020, then launched a redesign to modernise it and integrate the management of CCP (complementary professionalisation certificates) and VAE (recognition of prior experience).

The contract's challenge: supporting the GIE in a rapidly changing context.
The scope: the Certifi@ platform
Certifi@ is a services platform enabling professional branches to manage their own certification schemes — in particular CQP and CQPI — as well as other branch-specific certifications. Resulting from a takeover (formerly e-certif), it was redesigned to modernise it and integrate the new features (CCP, VAE).
Steamulo's AMOA support
Steamulo worked full-time in a business-analysis (AMOA) role (1 mission director, 1 AMOA consultant) to support the GIE across the whole project cycle:
- Framing: prioritising needs and converging the new requirements from the various OPCOs
- Interface between business teams and the development team
- Onboarding new clients onto the white-label SaaS (workshops, user guides)
- Writing functional specifications and monitoring development
- Functional acceptance testing, documentation and release notes
- Project steering (project, steering and user committees) and level-2 support
