The BPCE Group and Natixis
The BPCE Group, formed in 2009 from the merger of the Caisses d'Épargne and Banques Populaires, has around 8,000 branches, 36 million customers and 8 million member-shareholders, representing nearly 20% of the French retail banking market.
Natixis, a subsidiary of the group, offers products sold by both networks (BP and CE). It is in this context that Steamulo was entrusted with the Mon Expert in-branch lead management tool.

The Mon Expert project
Mon Expert addresses two needs of BP and CE branches: guiding advisors (Pro and Enterprise) across all BPCE Group offers, and tracking and managing leads (requests to connect with business experts) in a single tool.
Deployed across all branches, the application covers the Intertitres, Employee Savings, Factoring, E-commerce, Association, Payment Solutions and Leasing units. Advisors access offer presentations, dynamic-questionnaire quotes, lead entry, expert appointment booking, workflow tracking and activity reporting. On the business side, the expert receives their leads, responds to the prospect and updates their status.
A custom stack & IS integration
Steamulo chose a custom solution to meet three challenges: a simplified UX for non-expert advisors, an adaptable data model handling the disparity of offers, and a modular architecture open to quickly adding new offers.
The application is built on a PHP / Symfony stack (Twig templating) in a 3-tier architecture. For integration with business information systems, connectors were developed throughout the project: email or file exchange, connection to the Salesforce and Hubspot CRM APIs, and exposure of a dedicated lead-management API.

The initial application, built externally (PHP / Zend 1, unmaintained), suffered from quality and performance issues preventing its deployment. Steamulo ran an audit then handled maintenance for several months.
