Context

The OPCO des Entreprises de Proximité (OPCO EP) launched a redesign of its digital ecosystem to better support young people, companies and training organisations in their apprenticeship processes. Steamulo was selected for the full redesign of the apprenticeship hub — the Kléos project — aiming for a more ergonomic, modular site suited to current, particularly mobile, usage.

The Kléos project's challenges

  • Accessibility and a young audience: a mobile-first platform, intuitive navigation, touch gestures, social media integration
  • SEO performance: technical, editorial and structural optimisation of organic search
  • Personalised experience: distinct journeys for young people, companies and training organisations
  • Contributor autonomy: content management via a modern CMS (Strapi) and team training
  • Service digitalisation: a cost simulator, smart forms and contract-management modules

Implementation & architecture

The engagement began in January 2025 with UX, business and technical framing workshops, then ran in Agile SCRUM (two-week sprints, daily meetings, sprint reviews, monthly steering committees), tooled with Jira and Figma.

The architecture relies on a Strapi headless back-end, an ElasticSearch engine, a PostgreSQL database and Keycloak (SSO) authentication. The platform is responsive, with particular care given to security, performance and RGAA compliance. The team: a project manager, a technical director, a Strapi tech lead, 3 full-stack developers and SEO, UX and accessibility experts.
